A little History ....
About 20 years ago, I dreamed of having a commercial kitchen where I could prepare meals for seniors, shut-ins, and those people who just plain don't like to cook.
After 20 years of cooking here and there - learning the ropes so-to-speak, I bartered with a bride who wanted me to cook for her wedding.
So, I caterered her wedding and she created the Sunflower's website.
That is when the ball began to roll!
In February 2010, Michelle Graefer, was given the job of finding a cook for an active senior's complex. She searched on the web for a suitable caterer for the senior's of Legacy Estates Pineridge and found US!
After much communication and a dinner showdown with one other caterer, Sunflower Katering was chosen to be the caterers/cooks for the complex.
We opened the doors of our "BISTRO" on April 26th/2010 and prepare the meals for the seniors 2 to 3 times a week. After our probationary period of 3 months was over, and a little tweaking, we were invited to continue cooking for our seniors.
